I see potential in the team and in the product we make. There is a “death valley” of startups, which is about two years. If a project survives during that time with no money and enough resources, it is more likely to succeed. Sunny will soon be two years old. A fairly effective team has been assembled, and I believe that the startup will take off.

Who is working on Sunny’s launch?
There was just a technical team when I joined the project. After a while, we began to recruit more and more people who were responsible for marketing. Also, we contacted volunteers who helped us with advice on the development of the robot and investor relations. And right now, we have grown up into a fairly large and diverse team.
Why are you involved in the project?
One of my global goals is to be part of a team that creates a product which would change people’s lifestyles in a good way. Three years ago started building my own startup and kept it active for one year. Later, I’ve been invited by CEO Andrew to join the Sunny team. I did immediately agree cause I had previously dealt with Andrew when he helped me with tips and advice for my project. I am keen on creating innovative products.
You already had your own startup before, can you tell us more about your project?
Firstly, we tried to build an education platform for gamers since I am a gamer myself, and I know gamers’ demands and ways of thinking. I started organizing a team; however, in 2020, I aborted it due to a pandemic situation. Later, I gathered up a new group. Last goal which we had as a team was to create social media for video bloggers in the gaming field. However, we came up with the thought that we were not qualified enough..
How do you feel your participation in this project?
Initially, I was invited to the team to position a product. In the past, it used to be that we make everything for everyone. Later, we couldn’t choose between b2b and b2c. I tested different hypotheses and wrote where we can use our technology and how we can help regarding cutdev. Right now, I work with marketing, attract investment to our project and bring attention to our startup by collaborating with bloggers.
What are your strengths as a startup?
I started my carrier with public work later switched to entrepreneurship. Our first offline startup was educational. We draw investment to this project in 2018. The startup lasted one year. Later, I started a company which provides cleaning services, and after a while, I sold it. I got a chance to work as a manager in leading Asian and European crypto exchange companies. Also, I worked as marketing director in a web studio with Andrew.
Working is not sitting in an office
Looking for inspiration
Sunny is everywhere
What projects are you working on at this moment?
Currently, I have three main projects. Firstly, it’s my digital agency. We make landings, websites and so on. Also, I am a marketing director in a startup developing a VR game. And, of course, Sunny, the project I devoted most of my time.
And what will you get for yourself in this project?
I see potential in this project and a team. There is “Death Valley ” for startups for the first two years. If a startup survives through this time without money and many resources, it will succeed with a high probability. Soon, Sunny will reach its second year. There is a great team, and I believe Sunny will blow up. I see in this project a new opportunity to make an innovative device.
You spoke about the “valley of death” and the fact that some startups don’t realize. One of the reasons is that people don’t understand them. What will you do in the event that people don’t take too well to Sunny or fear him?
I do understand that there might be people who are intimidated by robots and all new products. However, I don’t think this would be the opinion of the vast masses. I think that would be a miserable percentage of such people. Moreover, even if we face such a problem, we would easily change our target audience and keep doing our business.
Is Sunny a commercial project or altruistic?
It is a commercial project. We all spend time and resources making a business from this product. We try to set the tasks and complete them. That’s the thing which differentiates the business from non-profit projects.
It’s interesting that you answered commercial, a lot of people answer that altruistic, because we help people.
Why is assistance should be free? Most of the companies like google, which make our life more comfortable, get paid for it. Why can’t we?
Which of Sunny’s functions is your favorite one?
My most appreciated function is the ability to connect Sunny to any device.
When you get Sunny in your hands, what will you use it for exactly?
I will use Sunny for video calls, as a voice assistant and personal assistant to set calendar reminders.
When people thank you for Sunny, what words of gratitude would you like to hear from them?
I would like to hear that Sunny is a real working solution for daily routine and unpredictable tasks.

I'm so happy
